I have worked in the building industry for 40 years in every aspect from maintenance through to asignificant number of new home builds. In this time, I've seen a lot of changes to regulations and pride myself on being a Licensed Building Practitioner and keeping completely up-to-date.
Back in the day I built my own home and my wife and I raised a family of four, who have now left the nest and have children of their own. I enjoy visits from the 3 grandchildren who delight in taking selfies with my phone!
I have always had a keen interest in and sound knowledge of rugby and racing.
I have shares in a couple of horses as part of a local syndicate – although I occasionally bemoan over a quiet beer that they are still running long after the winner has crossed the finish line.
