Project: Modernise a main bathroom and ensuite
The ensuite had an old existing bath in it that was seldom used. So it was decided to pull this out entirely and put in a full tiled shower in its place. What a difference this made!
Cathryn first approached us at the Taranaki Home Show in March. She was wandering around making general enquiries for modernising her old family bathroom, getting options available as you do at these shows but delayed making steps forward at that stage.
Unluckily for Cathryn, she needed us sooner than she originally thought, as her shower had sprung a ‘leak’, prompting her to look us up. On inspection, not only had the shower become faulty but it had also ruined the floor. All new fixtures and fittings were quoted and it was decided to include new wet area flooring, something that has been on the wish list for quite sometime. Cathryn also decided that since we were renovating one bathroom, why not renovate the ensuite as well, that way both rooms would complement each other with their modern fittings.
